Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her portrayals as the protagonist in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. She is also popular for her film roles in 'Private Parts', 'Deep impact', 'True Criminal as well as '1408'. Her parents were a therapist and an ice cream store proprietor, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the entertainment field. Following her parents' divorce in 1990, she was enrolled at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and earned the degree of BA in Comparative Art. The path she took to success started at the age of 12, when she was in a stage production of the Christmas musical 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'. While she pursued her profession in theatre, McCormack eventually was cast in roles on films and television. McCormack's versatility is widely recognized and is still widely recognized. McCormack has three daughters along and a husband who is a producer/director Michael Morris.
