Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. She is Italian via her father's grandfather. She is Irish through her mother, German, English, Scottish and German. Linda grew up living in the San Francisco Bay area, California she was the youngest of four kids. When she was ten years old, Linda became fascinated by acting when she performed an instrumental role in the Christmas show at her school. Her school involvement continued with productions and community theater. Linda attended Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. After graduation she had choose in between New York, where she could study theater as a career, or Los Angeles, where film and television were her options. LA was her choice. Linda was cast first as a part in Bone Chillers (1996). She had her breakthrough role on Freaks and Geeks (1998). Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning series.

Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). Lily James has a profession as an English actor. She began her career as a British actress on Just William (2010), an British television series that aired which aired on British television. Her breakout moment came in the year 2015 when she played the role of lead in Cinderella, a fantasy film. Her previous roles included the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period drama Downton Abbey. James continued to play the role of the role of Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). James also appeared as Baby Driver (2017) and in the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) as well as The Dig (2021), as well as musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 for her portrayal of Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
